Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Grizzly Mining Company LLC ("Aircraft Compliance," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Aircraft Compliance website, applications, and services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1.The Service
Aircraft Compliance is a software tool that helps aircraft owners and operators organize maintenance records, track inspections, airworthiness directives, and service bulletins, monitor upcoming due items, record costs, store scanned documents, and generate reports. The Service is a recordkeeping and organizational aid — see Section 5 for important limits on its purpose.
2.Beta service
The Service is currently offered in beta. It is provided "as is," may change, and may contain errors or be interrupted. Features available during beta may be modified, limited, or discontinued, and pricing for future paid plans is not yet final. We may contact you about your beta experience.
3.Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
4.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes others' rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited or harassing messages to third parties (including mechanics).
5.Airworthiness and your responsibility
Aircraft Compliance is a convenience tool, not a substitute for your legal responsibilities. You — as the aircraft owner, operator, pilot in command, and/or certificated mechanic — remain solely responsible for the airworthiness of your aircraft and for compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and other laws.
- The Service does not determine airworthiness, sign off inspections, or approve any aircraft for return to service.
- Any status, alert, due-date, or report generated by the Service is informational only and is based on the data you enter. It does not replace the official aircraft records, logbooks, or determinations required by the FAA.
- You are responsible for maintaining the original or legally required maintenance records and for verifying the accuracy of all information before relying on it.
- Always confirm the airworthiness and regulatory status of your aircraft with the actual records and a qualified certificated mechanic or inspector before flight.
6.Your content
You retain ownership of the records, documents, and other content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, display, and back up Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of records you are legally required to maintain.
7.Fees and paid plans
The Service is currently free during beta. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, the applicable pricing, billing, and cancellation terms will be presented to you before you are charged, and your continued use of a paid plan will be subject to those terms.
8.Third-party services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (such as email delivery, payment processing, or accounting integrations). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
9.Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DATA OR OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
10.Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRIZZLY MINING COMPANY LLC AND ITS OWNERS, MEMBERS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.
11.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Grizzly Mining Company LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12.Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 6, 9, 10, and 11) will survive.
13.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Montana, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
14.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
